To perform this maneuver, the player had to lie on their stomach or back as low to the ground as possible. A similar bug reoccurred in the VR Overhaul Update.

It was fixed in the 0.26 update on 6 March 2021. The low to ground strategy is a maneuver that can be performed by VR players in an attempt to avoid being killed during a hunt. Ghosts occasionally get stuck pathfinding on furniture or walls during hunts.Ghosts in Asylum/Brownstone High School occasionally spawn within walls during hunts.Van door or exit door occasionally does not appear open for one player.Ghost is sometimes considered as being on a different floor/equipment does not flicker near the ghost.Staring down within the tripods in the lobby causes part of the floor to go invisible.Using the summoning circle sometimes does not start a proper hunt.The ghost/smoke ball in a ghost event sometimes goes up the stairs first before attempting to collide with players.Joining a lobby sometimes does not show the player lobby screen.Sound Monitor is sometimes desynced between players.Flashlights or objects held by other appears may appear facing the wrong direction/floating.

A player's model may remain if they disconnect while finishing loading into the contract.Setup timer ticks over to negative briefly when the time reaches 00:00.Clicking on the screen while leaving a lobby may cause the screen to go black.Night vision on the computer is occasionally desynced between players.Video cameras on tripods cannot be toggled if another player set it up.Using the summoning circle does not cancel the Setup Phase.Opening one tent door may sometimes open another tent door instead.This is a list of bugs that have not been routinely acknowledged by the developers or Discord staff, though they may still be aware of the bugs.

Thermometer may not immediately show temperature of current room if someone else previously used it.Moving while crouched when holding certain objects causes erratic movement.Bones sometimes spawn in inaccessible areas, including walls.Drawers very occasionally spawn in erratic places upon arriving at a contract/objects or assets may teleport if the host leaves.Doors can be 'broken' off the hinge by pushing into it while holding it.Adding items, leaving, then rejoining will cause the player to not see their previously added items.Lighting effects do not work properly in some areas.Photos of ghosts sometimes do not register for photo rewards due to desync.Some location's doors fling open the opposite way before shutting close when a hunt starts.Items held by the player do not despawn if the player leaves via the Journal.This is an informal list of all bugs that have either been currently designated as 'known' under the pinned comments of the #bug-reports channel of the official Discord server, or have been acknowledged by staff members on the server.
